From 31 Minutes to 2: How Global Furniture Group Automated Order Entry with Zaqa

Global Furniture Group’s order desk was hand-keying a high volume of emailed purchase orders into their ERP across five branches. With Zaqa, they cut order entry from 31 minutes to 2 minutes per order and scaled volume without adding headcount.

The challenge

Every incoming PO meant someone reading the attached documents and manually entering each line item, product code and shipping detail into the ERP. That work was slow and repetitive, and it only scaled by adding people.

The approach

Zaqa now reads every incoming order first and extracts the details. Reps review and approve the order in Zaqa, and it posts to their existing ERP automatically. Nothing about their system or process had to change.

The results

  • 31 min → 2 min per order, a roughly 93% reduction in hands-on time
  • 2,807 orders and 9,487 line items processed in a single month (August 2026), up 55% from the month before
  • No added headcount to absorb the volume
